Meet Eli Freidus

Hello, and thank you for visiting my site! I consider myself extremely fortunate to come from a long line of outdoor-loving Floridians. Like generations before me, I have found solace, peace and purpose in spending as much time as I can in the outdoors, observing and interacting with the wildlife and natural places that we share this planet with. I am a lifelong fisherman and longtime resident of Ormond Beach, Florida, and over the years I have developed an equal passion for Photography. Eli Freidus Photography focuses primarily on Florida wildlife and landscape photography, including birds, animals, beaches, wetlands, forests and the many unique natural environments found throughout the state.

My connection to the local community also extends beyond photography. I am currently a science teacher at Seabreeze High School in Ormond Beach, and formerly the school's Soccer Coach. My experiences teaching, coaching and spending time outdoors have all contributed to my appreciation for the people, places and natural world that make Florida home.

I originally put this site together as a way to catalog the animals and places I ma fortunate enough to experience, while sharing those outdoor experiences with family, friends and anyone else who has an interest in nature and photography. What began as a personal collection has grown into a passion for documenting Florida's wildlife and landscapes and sharing those images with a much wider audience.
